Celty Cosplay Costume
This Durarara!! Celty Sturluson cosplay costume is the perfect thing for anyone that’s ever dreamed of being The Black Biker. She is a particularly interesting individual, and is said to not even have a heart. Indeed, she perceives the world through some sort of sensors that aren’t even located on her head. Her motorcycle actually seemed to be a sort of horse in disguise, and she communicates with a PDA. Chatting online and watching DVDs might not seem to be the usual activities ascribed to such a hardcore biker, but they fit her perfectly.
A black jumpsuit and cat-like helmet in gold and gray makes up the package. By adding a pair of motorcycle boots and gloves, this can instantly be turned into an ideal uniform for any convention. Adding a cheap PDA or similar prop might end a bit of greater realism to the design. It seems a bit strange, but it really does work.
There are a few other things to keep in mind about her character. She has a fear of traffic officers, for obvious reasons, and she naturally cares a great deal about protecting her head. Celty is on a mission to find it after all, and she wouldn’t want to have it squashed before she can get to it. Her might even be destroyed if that were to happen.
The Durarara!! Celty Sturluson costume only comes in adult sizes, and this might disappoint some fans. However, it makes perfect sense. She is certainly an alluring character, and may not exactly be the type that many people would feel comfortable having their children perform as. Considering that she lives with Kishitani Shinra and is a member of the gang Dollars, it might be best to leave her to the adults.
Considering the fact that she is a Dullahan from Ireland, it might be interesting that The Headless Rider is also known as Celty. This might be an attempt to tie her character together a bit more, so some fans might want to practice speaking with a fascinating new voice. Then again, this is a very difficult thing to do, so no cosplayer should consider himself or herself a failure. After all, this costume is already a great way to pull off such a great character. Celty Sturluson might very well become a convention icon because of the availability of such great materials to cosplay her as.
