Last month I finished the anime Blassreiter. I really liked it. When I watched the first episode I wasn’t really into it because I was watching it while eating lunch and I wasn’t expecting that much carnage. So, I had to stop the DVD and move on to something less bloody. After finishing my lunch I completed all the episodes. I found myself really getting into the storyline. It also didn’t hurt that I really liked Joseph Jobson :-)
The only character that drove me crazy, to the point that I wanted to commit bodily harm to him every time he opened his month was Hermann Saltza. Gosh, could they have made this character any more annoying? To be fair I’m talking about the English voice over. I guess I could have switched it over to the original Japanese cast but honestly I was too lazy to push the button. I much rather be angry at this annoying voice instead of doing something productive about it. :reallypissed:
So besides the annoying, whining voice of Hermann, Blassreiter is a series that I will add to my collection. There’s a lot of information coming at you that a second or third watching maybe necessary to absorb it all in-order to get a better understanding of what Xargin and the others are really up to but that’s okay. It is a good anime that’s worthy of a re-watching.

Oh and speaking of Blassreiter, soon to be released is the Amanda Werner from Yamato. This particular figure shows a more seductive side of Amanda in her XAT uniform. It goes to show you can still look sexy while kicking major demoniac butt.
