I saw the trailer for Rin: Daughter of Mnemosyne while watching another anime series and I thought it would be a fast pace, entertaining anime (at least that’s what I thought) I had no reason to suspect I would see what I saw. :shock:
I saw topless girls, girl on girl, boy on girl, S&M and everything in between action. It’s rated TV-MA had I took notice of this earlier it could have prepared me (a little bit) but I tend to disregard ratings. I find anime ratings to be somewhat inaccurate; for example Witchblade is given a TV-MA rating (I believe its’ content doesn’t come anywhere near Rin’s) and there’s the R rating given to the live action Death Note (for violence I guess but really?) and then there’s Speed Grapher which also gets a TV-MA (whose content matches that of Rin’s) so ratings don’t really paint an accurate picture so I disregard them. (however I should say I can do this because of I am over the age of 18 and seeing anime like Rin or Speed Grapher may initially shock me however I can get over it and deal with it while others can not – okay moving on).
So, my initial thoughts of Rin: Daughter of Mnemosyne is that it’s moving along at a nice pace but I’m really curious if they were going in the direction of making it a hentai but then took it onto different path. I haven’t seen an actual hentai anime before (just seen the covers) but I would image that Rin isn’t too far off into being one. She seems like a great candidate.
I have 3 more episodes left before I can say if it’s a good anime or a bad one. However, if you like boobies, sex, immortal women and men who give them pleasure by devouring them then give Rin a try (that is if you are the right age). :devil:

Con: too much sex not enough story on how and why they are immortal, deceptive trailer
