I’m curious. How do you watch your anime? Is TV, DVD rental, DVD purchase, or from internet downloads?
I watch anime several ways: TV (Bleach, Death Note – on Adult Swim) DVD rentals from Netflix. If I like an Anime DVD then I’ll go out and buy the complete box set. I like to watch the DVD’s before I make my purchase because I don’t want to own a horrible Anime series (i.e. Kite Liberator) I get really upset when I spend good $ on bad products so I try my best to not go off of reviews only but watching it myself first before I hand over my $.
I haven’t tried watching Anime on the internet, yet. I’m just so use to sitting back on my comfy sofa with my home theater system turned up high watching Anime (I can’t really do that with my crappy laptop – maybe when I get a new one with a bigger hard drive who knows)
If you would like to start watching Anime online check out my post tomorrow. I’ll tell you where you can view over 16+ anime series totally legal and totally free.
Until then,
Bye-nee

I watch my anime on the computer and TV.
If the anime is really good, I am likely going to buy it to enjoy it on the TV and for all times (Mononoke-hime, Spirit Away, Mushishi) .
However, watching on the computer allows me to put it on one screen of a computer (dual monitor), and on the other, I get to work on web designing, illustrating, programming, or basic web browsing (read manga).
Unfortunately, (in my ethnocentric value) I use any entertainment media for that purpose (watch and work), and I just don’t see why other people are not doing it. I think they should :P
None the less, I love anime, and I shouldn’t complain how we should enjoy it.
Thanks for your comment. You made some really great points. I checked out your blog. It definitely has potential to bring in a lot of readers (me for one). I really liked the techniques section (words and images to go with them make understanding things a whole lot easier).
I wish I could draw (I think I’m a bit jealous now).
Hi there this is actually a interesting point myself I watch online at a few different sites but my favorite site is still and just might always be youtube but to get back to the point of your post I watch online sometimes in Japanese audio with English subtitles and then I watch it with English dubbed just to see the difference in the voices.
but I also buy the dvds online the closest store that sells anime in my area is best buy and that’s a 30 minute drive from my house so I just buy online from like amazon or rightstuf those are the only 2 places I have ever bought anime from before with rightstuf you can sometimes get some good deals.
By the way I also stopped by to thank you for giving me my first comment on my blog I think that was vary nice of you so THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS…
:-)
