(opening song below)
Okay, I’ve finished watching episode 12-16 and that Shoji is such a jerk! No girl, even Hachi (Nana), deserves to be treated that way. Yes, she’s not totally innocent in the whole thing and yes, she is quite annoying but no one deserves to be treated that way.
Sachiko is not without her fault as well. She knew that Shoji had a girlfriend but she didn’t let that stop her from sleeping with him. So, Sachiko you are on my Do Not Like list however the full blame goes to Shoji. He was the one who said he loved Nana and even had thought of marrying her (to death). Sachiko made no such promise to Nana (I mean why would she) but Shoji you are horrible!
He should have been a man about it and broke things off (I know easier said then done). Their relationship was like a bomb waiting to explode. Isn’t it better to defuse a bomb and then get rid of it versus letting the bomb explode? In an explosion so many people can get hurt. When you defuse it correctly, everyone is okay. Yea, there is a possibility that you may clip the wrong wire but what about the possibility of you clipping the right wire? Everyone will be unharmed and can continue with their lives, right?
That’s what we had in these episodes. Shoji and Nana’s relationship was like a bomb but no one wanted to defuse it for fear that they would be “clipping” the wrong wire. So, instead we had a freaking huge explosion where so many people got hurt. And I blame Shoji. He knew he was no longer in love with Nana but was just a punk and couldn’t man-up! (boo, Shoji).
Alright, enough about that naughty boy . . . let’s move on to my favorite Nana. She finally made her début in Tokyo. She was so cool! I got goose bumps (for real!) To have such a presence around you must be an awesome feeling.
I’m looking forward to the next episodes. Until then enjoy the opening and Nana’s Tokyo debut song:
