Death Note: L, Change the WorLd is Coming to the Big Screen

in Announcements

It’s  been announced that Viz Pictures is having a screening of the Live Action Movie L, Change the WorLd. April 29 and 30 (Wednesday and Thursday) are the two days that you can see this spin-off inspired by hit Anime, Manga, and Live Action series the Death Note.

I haven’t decided if I’m going to go see this in the theaters, yet. Sometimes spin-offs aren’t that great but I maybe pleasantly surprise by this spin-off. I just don’t want to go into the theater all excited about seeing the movie and leave thinking “I can’t believe I spent my money and time watching this film – Dammit, I want my money back” I’ll probably take the plunge and buy my tickets to see the movie – that’s what Death Note Fans do, right? (at this point I need some convincing. I’ve been disappointed by spin-off series before and they left a very bad taste in my mouth – at least the original actor, Ken’ichi Matsuyama, who played L from the live action Death Note will be back. So that’s something, right?)

Tickets will  go on sale on March 23. L, Change the WorLd will be brought to you by the same company CineMedia’s NCM Fathom.

You can read the whole story at Death Note’s L Spinoff Film in U.S. Theaters in April
