How long is Ichigo able to Hollowify?
Ichigo Kurosaki had first developed his Hollow form when Kisuke Urahara allowed him to regain his powers as a Soul Reaper. However, this incarnation of his Hollow abilities was uncontrollable. Having studied under the Visoreds, Ichigo was able to call upon his hollow form at will. Under normal circumstances, he can only hollowify for eleven seconds. However, when battling in Hueco Mundo, this limit increases, as does the power of his Hollow ability.

How old was Toshiro when he became captain of his squad?
As a child in the Rukongai district of the Soul Society, Hitsugaya lived with his grandmother and Momo. When Momo Hinamori leaves for the Soul Reaper academy, Toshiro becomes quite furious, and it is shown that he has always had an icy demeanor. Eventually he dreams of an icy plain, and Rangiku Matsumoto tells him that he must train to be a Soul Reaper, despite his young age, because his obvious connections with the power of ice are slowly freezing his grandmother.

We also know that Toshiro Hitsugaya is the youngest Soul Reaper to ever reach Captain status. Rukia commented that she’s three times older than Ichigo, despite her appearance. Granted, because of the look of anime characters, it’s hard to gauge what age is supposed to appear close to, however we know that Ichigo is 15. However, to make things murkier, Toshiro once commented that he is one hundred years older than Ichigo Kurosaki.

Therefore, while we may not know what age Toshiro Hitsugaya became Captain of his squad, or even how old he actually is, we do know that he is very young for the job and a youthful prodigy.

In which episode does Ichigo discover his dad is a soul reaper?
While Ichigo’s father Isshin Kurosaki originally appeared to know nothing about the Soul Reaper secrets that Ichigo and Rukia were hiding from him, he later showed he knew far more than he let on. In Bleach episode 111 we learn that Isshin Kurosaki was actually a Soul Reaper, and still possesses the powers of one. However, only we as the viewers learn that he is one! Ichigo Kurosaki still seems to be left in the dark.

Does Toshiro like his assistants?
Captain Histugaya has an icy personality and would probably call it undignified to let anyone know that he had respect for another soul. However, no matter how much he hides it, he does appreciate the company of Lieutenant Rangiku Matsumoto. Despite the differences in their characters, the feeling is probably mutual. Outside of his own company, he is also a friend of Momo Hinamori, though once more he sometimes suggests her company is undignified. At least some of Hitsugaya’s behavior is probably an act.

What does Uryu Ishida wear?
When fulfilling his duties as a Quincy, Ishida wears white pants, a white shirt, and a type of cloak known as a mantle. His clothing features a blue cross motif, which is the symbol of the Quincies. When he is in school, Ishida wears dress pants, a white belt, a pressed white shirt, and a striped necktie.

Where do we learn about Toshiro’s past?
Captain Hitsugaya’s past is revealed to us in several places, though much of it still remains a mystery. Episode 46 of the Bleach anime shows us the long time friendship between Momo Hinamori and Toshiro. A number of things are revealed to us about Toshiro Hitsugaya in the film Bleach the Movie: The DiamondDust Rebellion, Another Hyorinmaru. However, quite a bit of what we know about his past comes from the special one-shot manga Tite Kubo drew to appear in Shonen Jump magazine around the time the movie was made. Who was the Captain of Squad 10 before Toshiro Hitsugaya?
To date, there is no suggestion as to who predated Captain Hitsugaya as the commanding officer of the Tenth Division. However, it is known that the Assistant Captain, Rangiku Matsumoto, has held her position longer than Hitsugaya has held his. It bears repeating that he is the youngest Soul Reaper to ever be a Captain.

Who are Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya’s assistants’ names?
Rangiku Matsumoto is the Assistant Captain of Squad 10. She has actually held the position of Assistant Captain longer than Hitsugaya has been a full Captain. However, she is sometimes lazy, and therefore he gets stuck doing her work as well as his.
