Fate Stay Night Disc 1 Advent of the Magi: Episode 3
Saber informs Emiya that the pact of master and servant between the two of them is complete. (Emiya has no clue to what she is saying). Saber takes off after Lancer. It is revealed during their fight that Lancers is Ireland’s Son of Flight and he wields the Hound of Culann that invokes the Gae Bolg a powerful technique that pierces the opponents heart no matter what obstacle get’s in its way (Lancer’s true identity is revealed). Saber is in slightly injured by the Gae Bolg but Lancer takes off (obeying his master’s order to leave if he failed at his attacks).
Saber’s external wounds heal but not completely but that doesn’t stop her from attacking Archer, who she senses next. Rin is there and orders Archer to vanish. In doing so, it leaves Rin vulnerable to Saber’s attack. Luckily for Rin, Emiya arrives in time to order Saber to stop. (Saber doesn’t understand why Emiya has ordered her to stop and Emiya doesn’t understand why a girl is going around trying to kill people).
Back at Emiya’s home, Rin attempts to explain the Holy Grail War to Emiya. How the stigma on his hand marks him as a master and that they are made up of 3 command seals that order his servant to obey his will. She quickly notices that Emiya has no magic skills at all. And it is due to his lack of skills and that Saber has not completely materialized and can not transform into her spirit state.
Rin decides to take Emiya and Saber to the overseer of the Holy Grail War. At the Kotomine Church they meet the Magus and overseer Kirei Kotomine. He explains to Emiya (once again) about the Holy Grail War (but this time a bit more information is provided like the winner of the Holy Grail War gets what ever they wish for granted). Emiya, our champion of justice, decides he will participate in the Holy Grail War only to prevent what had happened 10 years ago from happening again (remember the blazing fire scene in Episode 1 10 years ago? The Holy Grail War was the cause of that).
After leaving the church Emiya, Rin and Saber meet the giggling girl from Episode 2 in the street and this time she has a huge monster standing behind her.
