Fate Stay Night Disc 2 War of the Magi: Episode 5
Before breakfast Emiya asks Saber to stay within her room so that Taiga and Sakura will not see her. He is conflicted with this decision all day during school. When he arrives home from school Saber is a sleep. Since neither she, nor Emiya were in any danger she took the opportunity to increase her strength by sleeping all day.
Sakura arrives, for dinner. As Emiya, Sakura and Taiga prepare to eat dinner, Emiya decides he can no longer keep hiding Saber in her room all alone. He gets up from the table and gets Saber. He introduces Saber to Taiga and Sakura. Of course Taiga is totally against a girl and a boy leaving under the same roof together and she’s very suspicious of Saber (a foreigner). Saber informs Sakura and Taiga that it was Kiritsugu’s wish that she protect Emiya. Taiga is not buying this explanation. So, she challenges Saber to a duel. If Saber defeats her, she can stay with Emiya but if she wins Saber has to leave.
The duel begins and Taiga is no match for Saber. It’s quickly conformed that Saber is the winner and she can stay with Emiya. Later that night, Sakura and Taiga decide to stay as well (a little bonding time for the girls).
By morning Taiga has a better understanding of Saber’s intentions and fully approves of her and her living with Emiya.
At school Emiya feels a little nauseous. He quickly dismisses this feeling (is it a sign or an omen?) We are shown a glimpse of a person with long purple hair in a tree (did she do something to cause this nauseous feeling in Emiya?) During his lunch period, Emiya visits Issei who finds himself constantly tired with little relief from naps. Emiya and Issei are interrupted by Souichirou Kuzuki who informs Issei that Ayako Mitsuri has been missing since yesterday and that one of the last persons to see her, Shinji Maotou, is also absent from school (is there some kind of connection here?)
So after school, Emiya tries to investigate to where Ayako may be but it is getting late. As he is walking in the building he sees Rin. She is furious. She can’t stand the fact that a Master is walking around the school without his Servant. She has had enough of his inability to take the situation serious. So, she declares and all out war on Emiya. She uses the Gandr Shooting technique and begins firing away at Emiya. He is taken a back by her attack and starts running (what else can he do? He has little to no fighting skills).
Emiya finds himself trapped in a classroom. He can’t jump out the window because Rin has placed a barrier around the room (or did she?). There’s nothing left to do so he tries to defend himself. He grabs a desk and prepares for Rin’s next attack.
As the episode ends, the person with the long purple hair is shown again in the tree outside the school (what’s going to happen next? Will Rin finish off Emiya or will the purple haired person do something unforgivable?)
Until then (episode 6),
