Fate Stay Night Disc 2 War of the Magi: Episode 6

The battle between Emiya and Rin continues in the classroom. Emiya manages, some how, to run pass Rin into the hallway. There, Rin gives Emiya the last chance to hand over his command seals or face the consequences. He refuses saying there is no way he will betray Saber like that. Just as Rin is about to blast Emiya, they both hear a scream.

Emiya races down the stairs with Rin following. They both come upon a girl who looks like she has passed out. Rin informs Emiya that her life energy has been drained. As Rin begins to restore the girl’s energy, someone throws a spear straight for Rin’s head. Emiya jumps in to intercept it and gets hit in the arm.

He quickly runs outside to find the culprit. He enters the woods near the school and hears laughter. It sounds like Shinji (but it is never confirmed if it is him or not). An invisible chain is attached to Emiya’s arm (right where the spear had pierced his arm). On the other end of this chain is a servant (the long, purple haired girl). She has Emiya cornered, yet he refuses to call on Saber. The purple haired girl takes the chain and dangles Emiya by is arm over a tree and is about to administer her final blow but is interrupted by Rin (she saves Emiya once again).

Emiya heads back to Rin’s house where they talk about the magus who put up the barrier around the school which when activated will drain all the energy from every student and teacher on campus. They decide to call a truce in order to work together to find the magus and destroy the barrier.

After their discussion Rin has Archer escort Emiya home. Archer takes this opportunity to lay into Emiya about his “idea” of participating in the Holy Grail Wars without killing anyone, and his stubborn behavior of not calling on his servant when attacked by a servant (referencing the fight with purple haired girl who’s name is Rider). He also points out to Emiya that it must be a burden for Saber to have such an inexperienced master.

Archer’s questions infuriate Emiya but it does start to make him question his decision and involvement concerning the Holy Grail Wars.

Looking forward to the next episode 7,
