Fate Stay Night Disc 2 War of the Magi: Episode 7
The next morning Saber questions Emiya on why he broke his promise of summoning her when he is in danger (she knows about the incident with Rider). He casually explains that he did not think he was in danger (guess it was a “friendly” fight, right?) He also informs Saber that he has partnered up with Rin. Saber thinks that this is a great idea. Emiya knows nothing of magical lore and he could learn some things from Rin but he mustn’t forget that they are still enemies (everyone seems to understand this except Emiya).
At breakfast it is obvious to everyone that Saber is bothered by something. She practically eats up all the food. Poor Taiga get very little food to eat and she is obviously devastated by this fact. As Sakura and Emiya are putting on their shoes to leave for school Saber appears ready to go as well. She is there to protect Emiya so today she is going to school with him. This startles Emiya a bit (how can he explain her to his classmates?) As soon as Saber pushes open the door Rin is there. She calmly states that she and Emiya will be walking to school together. This gets Sakura all flustered and upset. So, she immediately runs out without hearing an explanation from Emiya (but how could she when he is totally shocked and loss for words by Rin’s arrival).
So Emiya and Rin finally head to school. Rin was able to convince Saber to stay home. As soon as they arrive at school Emiya feels the presence of the barrier. It has gotten stronger and could be activated in a few days. So, Rin decides they should meet up during lunch on the roof.
At lunchtime as Emiya is making his way to the roof he runs into Sakura. She sees him and once again takes off running down the stairs. Emiya takes off after her. He finally catches up with her and gives her an explanation about the morning events and she accepts it and all is well.
During that time Rin was impatiently waiting on the roof. She finds Emiya and they discuss the important data (Ayako has been found but her life energy was almost completely drained) and how to weaken the barrier. Rin decides that their best option is to destroy the sigils which allow the barrier to expand. If they are able to do this it may buy them some time to find the master. Emiya has an exceptional ability to find the sigils and Rin has the power to destroy the sigils. So, together they easily find and destroy many sigils on campus.
They decide to call it a night and both head in separate directions to their homes but Emiya is quickly struck by the presence of a very strong barrier. He goes back into the school and heads for the Archery building. Once inside he sees a massive symbol on the wall. He turns and sees Rider with Shinji (Is Shinji really the one behind all this?)
