Fate Stay Night Disc 4 Archer: Episode 14
The End of the Ideal
Saber, Rin, and Archer hid outside Einzberg castle. While they are waiting, they see Illya leave and use this chance to enter the castle. Emiya, finally frees himself from his ropes just as Saber and the others enter the room (a little to easily). They all run around the castle for a while until they see the exit but they can’t leave. Illya has been in the castle the whole time watching them run like animals.
It’s time to get started . . . . Rin instructs Archer to battle Berserker just long enough for her, Saber and Emiya to escape (Saber is in no condition to fight). Archer agrees but would rather destroy Berserker instead. Rin gives Archer her permission to destroy Berserker if he must.
As Rin, Saber, and Emiya run for the door, Archer imparts some encouraging words to Emiya. He tell Emiya to live to his potential and that his worst enemy is himself.
Archer and Berserker begin to battle. It’s a long fight. Archer dodges as much as he can calling on as many of his skills, techniques and powers as possible but damage is minimum to Berserker. Ultimately, Archer is unable to defeat Berserker but he does put up a magnificent fight which enables him to take a total three of Berserkers lives before he (Archer) dies and disappears.
Rin, Saber, and Emiya sense something has happened to Archer but Rin insist that they continue to run for shelter.
