So, I was looking through the latest key chains that arrived and became very excited. We got some really amazing Code Geass key chains that I would love to get my hands on but then my excitement turned to total shock.
Let me say, first and foremost, that I love GE Entertainment and the outstanding anime merchandise they produce for fans to have, hold, and cuddle with but when I saw the Claymore Twin Goddess key chain I was in total disbelief.
I’m standing there with this amazing package in my hand that says Claymore in big, bold silver and red lettering with Clare poised and armed, ready to take on a wicked Yoma and then my eyes land on the actual key chain itself. And that is when my excitement came to a complete halt.
The twin goddesses are soooooooooooo tiny. I had seen images of them before seeing the physical key chain so I had thought this would be a rather normal size key chain like all the others like the Bleach key chains, the Death Note key chains and even the Lucky Star key chains; all these previous ones where nice, meaty and you can instantly tell who the characters are.
On the Claymore key chain I can only make out the wings and that’s it. No that’s not true, when I squint hard enough I can see 2 heads and 2 legs but that’s about it.
Had the keychain been a bit bigger in size then I wouldn’t be complaining but it’s soooooooo small. I had every intention of going into our storeroom and getting this key chain for myself but now I think I will pass which is a tough thing to do because I really had my heart set on getting this key chain. I wanted to show my support for Claymore especially since I recently finished it and wasn’t disappointed with the ending. I’ll have to find some other way to show my support (it’s just easier for me to show my support with key chains. They are a great conversation starter).
Okay, maybe I’m overreacting but I don’t think so. It’s not a horrible key chain. It’s of the same high quality as the others its’ failure is in the design :cry:
But what do you do think? Claymore key chain Good :yes: or Claymore key chain bad :no:
