I was talking with my friends over at onestopyaoishop.com about the insane prices sellers on Amazon.com are charging yaoi fans for hard to find/out of print (oop) yaoi. I was totally stunned by these 3 digit prices. My first thought was that these copies were made of gold or perhaps they were signed by the author? Nope, they were regular copies of yaoi but to add insult to injury most were used copies of the yaoi.
I think it will be a cold day in Hell before I spend over $100 for 1 manga or any book for that matter (obviously this excludes school books). These sellers only see $$ in front of their eyes and they have no problem taking advantage of yaoi fans. If you’re going charge that much money for 100+ pages include something extra in it like a dinner to an upscale restaurant or offer to pay my near maxed out credit card because it will be maxed out after making a purchase like that.
