Ikki Tousen Disc 2 Historic Battles: Episode 5
This just in an Imperial Order: the Big Fighters Tournament will be held!
The last time the Big Fighters Tournament was held was 2 years ago. Totaku, a freshman at the time, won the tournament all by himself and became the top ranked fighter in the region and earned the Gyokeiji stone seal that Shikoutei of the Shin Dynasty made (certificate of the Emperor). This stone gives him the right to determine when the next Big Fighters Tournament will be held.
While taking a bath Hakufu Sonsaku decides she will become a top ranking fighter which is good because her and Koukin are ordered to represent the Nanyo Academy in this upcoming battle.
Hakufu tries to visit Taishiji in the hospital but no visitors are allowed. There are two fighters (from Youshu) who support Taishiji standing guard. One of them is really furious at Hakufu because he blames Hakufu for Taishiji’s condition (he may not be able to fight anymore, that is, if he ever regains conscious). This and the fact that Taishiji is badly injured ignite the fiery in the Sho Haou. Hakufu later arrives at Youshu to take on those who turned again Taishiji, their former fighter. Hakufu is fuming but she is unable to fight effectively because of her injuries she obtained during her battle with Taishiji. It isn’t until someone mentions the name Taishiji that the powerful Sho Haou is released. Once released, it’s only a matter of minutes before everyone is defeated by one little girl.
When Hakufu comes to she goes to the hospital to see Taishiji. Koukin is there and she informs him how this thing inside her came out again (she remembers a little about her fight with Ryomou) and she doesn’t like it and how she doesn’t understand about scared beads and it’s all a bit emotional for her. The 2 guards at Taishiji’s door allow Hakufu and Koukin to enter. While inside, the two talk about the Big Fighters Tournament and how neither one of them really want to fight but it’s an Imperial Order from Enjuutsu. Feeling really lost and unsure of what to do, the unconscious Taishiji, manages to raise his fist as a sign for the two to fight. Later that night, the two decide they will participate in the tournament.
Ryomou, on the other hand is on a mission to find Seji and that leads her to Ryofu Hosen on the grounds of Rakuyo High School. The two engage in battle. Who will win? Ryomou wants Seji back and Hosen isn’t about to hand him over to her. This might be a very interesting battle.
