Ikki Tousen Disc 3 Water Wars: Episode 9

Koukin, Hakufu, and Aunt Goei arrive at the Healing Spa Village. It is a hidden hot springs where fighters go to heal. Aunt Goei goes off to run a few errands and Hakufu and Koukin head for the hot springs.

While in the hot and relaxing water Hakufu spot Ryomou. Hakufu greets Ryomou but Ryomou is not really in a great mood and leaves. Confused, Hakufu ask Koukin what’s up with Ryomou. He informs her that Ryomou maybe concerned about her fighting ability after being defeated in the last tournament. This motivates Hakufu to cheer up Ryomou, so she sets off to do so.

Meanwhile, Aunt Goei arrives at a temple to met Master Choko Shikou. While there she sees Ryofu. Master Choko informs Aunt Goei that he has finished teaching her the powerful fighting technique – Jisai Rekkouha. This causes worry to spread across Aunt Goei faces but she has other matters to discuss. It concerns her daughter and the dragon that is within her. Master Choko tells Aunt Goei that there is nothing that she can do about her daughter’s fate. If the dragon wants to awaken, it will just as the fated-bead her husband once possessed lead him to his fate.

Hakufu finally catches up with Ryomou and shows her this amazing waterfall. While there they met up with Master Choko. Ryomou issues a fighting challenge to the old man and he accepts. Hakufu tries to warn Ryomou that the old man is pretty sneaky but she continues anyway. After several failed attempts to land a punch, the old man invites Hakufu to fight as well. It’s 2 against 1 and Ryomou mustn’t hesitate anymore (says the old man). When Hakufu and Ryomou decide to work together they are able to land a kick and they win.

As the three of them are leaving they run into Ryofu. She fondles Hakufu a bit and Ryomou steps in and declares that she will not allow her (Ryofu) to attack Hakufu even if it cost her, her life.

It is time for the dragon to awaken.
