Ikki Tousen Disc 4 Fighting Fate: Episode 11
Hakufu Sonsaku and Ukitsu’s battle begins. Just as Ukitsu is about to land a kick Koukin steps in and Hakufu unexpectedly collapses. Her weakened stay is due to Totaku’s Hakkei which targets the body’s vital points. So Hakufu and Ukitsu’s battle is postponed.
The next day Hakufu stays home from school and Ryomou and Koukin are worried about Gakushu. He is missing. Koukin decides to look for him around school. He runs into Saji who takes him to meet Enjyutsu in the boiler room. In the boiler room Koukin is attacked by Kannei and is knocked out.
Hakufu on the other hand is at home resting. Her mother demands that she cleans the house and to start in Koukin’s room. While cleaning his room she opens a book that discusses the 3 kingdoms and she reads how Sonsaku died at an early age.
Aunt Goei is concerned about the bruise on Hakufu’s back and provided with information from Master Choko she learns that in 3 days the affects of Totaku’s technique will reach Hakufu’s heart and the only way to remove it is by having Totaku remove it himself. Very worried, she decides to tell Hakufu. Hakufu is saddened by this and the information she read earlier but makes up her mind to go to Totaku and get him to remove the Jagashou technique (yes, the name is different maybe one is the technique and the other is the name of the affect . . .?)
Ryomou arrives minutes later looking for Koukin and Aunt Goei informs her of Hakufu’s plan. So, she goes after Hakufu and together they travel to Rakuyo High School.
Meanwhile, we have Ryofu at the hospital by Chinkyu’s side. Chinkyu soon dies in the hospital and a saddened Ryofu heads off for Totaku.
At Rakuyo High School, Hakufu and Ryomou fight their way to see Totaku. He escorts them to his room where Ryomou immediately attacks him and demands he remove the Jagashou. Unfortunately, for her, Totaku has some mad fighting skills and easily maneuvers himself to have her in a life-threaten position. Hakufu tries to run and help Ryomou but the affects of the Jagashou are really taking a toll on her. Totaku finally gets to the point and tells Hakufu he will remove the Jagashou if he kills Ryofu.
Back to Koukin – Koukin comes to and sees that Enjyutsu is dead and that all the orders that they had received were fake. Saji had pretended to be Enjyutsu all along and it is revealed to us all that Saji Genpou is actually Ouin Shishi. According to the Romance of the 3 Kingdoms, Ouin is the stepbrother of Totaku and the person who manipulated Ryofu into killing Totaku.
That’s how this episode plays out. End scene is of Ryofu arriving at Rakuyo High School ready to take on Totaku.
Will she really have to fight Hakufu and if so, can Hakufu fight? (She’s in pretty bad shape). Guess I’ll get the answers in the next episode. Episode 12.
