Ikki Tousen Episode 1 and 2 Characters
I’ve completed episode 1 and 2 of Ikki Tousen and here is a brief introduction of the characters I’ve meet so far.
Sonsaku Hakufu- main character, she’s very cute, a little “stupid,” and has the soul of Sho Haou within her. She is an amateur fighter but she is very powerful and learns quickly.
Shuyu Koukin – Hakufu’s childhood friend. He is actually a very strong fighter but pretends that he isn’t. He is concerned about the spirit inside Hakufu consuming her so he only get serious about fighting when Hakufu is in danger.
Aunt Goei – Sonsaku Hakufu’s mother, and chaperone. She lives with Hakufu and Koukin in Koukin’s house. She’s bit lustful and likes younger men.
Gakushu – a huge fighter on campus. He fears Hakufu because he senses the enormous power dwelling inside her.
Shimei Ryomou – she is also a very powerful fighter despite having an eye patch over her left eye. She also fears the Sho Haou (but doesn’t admit it to herself). When the Imperial Order is issued to execute Hakufu she is determined to kill Hakufu with her own hands.
Genpou Seji – he loves to grope, grab, cop-a-feel of any beautiful big breasted girl around (yea, he’s a real gentleman). He is very cunning and devious. It is his plan that leads to the slight awakening of the Sho Haou and the physical and emotional damage of Sonsaku Hakufu, Shuyu Koukin, and Shimei Ryomou (yep, a real gentleman).
The above characters attend Nanyo Academy. Rakuyo High School is also mentioned but I haven’t seen it yet.
The characters that are mentioned but haven’t been seen are:
Kouro Enjuutsu - he controls the fighter at Nanyo Academy
Totaku – he is the leader of one of the rival school. So far he has defended a lot of fighters and it doesn’t seem too many people like him.
Koha Kannei – this is one crazy dude. He is an insane fighter with a disgustingly slimy tongue. He was given an Imperial Order to kill Hakufu but Ryomou interrupted him so she cold kill Hakufu herself.
So, far I am totally enjoying the episodes. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
